This is similar to a breathing practice we learnt at yoga and it is great, with practice I got to over 2 minutes of not breathing. Really interesting read thanks

Wow, that's fantastic! The most I have achieved is just over 2 mins, too, but my goal is five rounds of 2 mins, and then I'll be going for two and a quarter, then two and a half minutes! But the reason I do it is how it makes me feel afterwards, energised, calmer and less stressed for the rest of the day! Thanks for commenting, I'm so pleased you enjoyed reading :)

I've never read that book and I'm adding it to my list now. That's so interesting.

To be honest, I've been crossing the line with coffee recently, so it's definitely something I want to try. I wonder what's the max time I can hold my breath. I bet no more than 50sec but let's see.

Thank you so much for commenting and restacking, Baranverse. Yes, it is a great book. Like I said in the post, though, there is some debate about the 'scientific support' he claims, but there is evidence that it can reduce the stress level, and it definitely helps me! Happy breathing :)
